MA Program (Art History)

Our MA in art history is designed to meet the needs of a diverse student population. Students, through dynamic courses, learn methods of art historical analysis, a variety of art historical interpretations, and practical applications of the field.

In addition, ours is a unique program in this region, placing special emphasis on new media skills, museology, and pre-professional internships. Students will be prepared for the technical and professional demands of museum careers and advanced electronic age PhD scholarship more than students in traditional Art History MA programs based primarily on lecture and library work.

Traditional research skills and new media practical studies will give students necessary tools for independent high-level research, professional work, and the dissemination of knowledge.
