Recent PhD Grad Maureen Santelli Publishes Article in "Early American Studies"

A recent graduate of the PhD program in history, Maureen Santelli, has published an article titled "'Depart from That Retired Circle': Women’s Support of the Greek War for Independence and Antebellum Reform." The article appears in the most recent issue of Early American Studies. Santelli received her PhD in 2014 from George Mason for a dissertation titled "'The Greek Fire': The Greek War for Independence and the Emergence of American Reform Movements, 1780-1860," under the direction of Rosemarie Zagarri and committee members Cindy Kierner and Mack Holt.
