The Organization of American Historians has named Spencer Crew, Robinson Professor of American, African American and Public History, to its Distinguished Lectureship Program. Professor Crew will offer lectures on the Underground Railroad, the Great Migration, and the Modern Civil Rights movement. He joins history faculty Cynthia Kierner, Martin Sherwin, Suzanne Smith, and Rosemarie Zagarri in receiving this honor.
