Professors Ben Cowan and Yevette Richards Jordan have won funding from the university for their research.
Professor Cowan has received Mathy Junior Faculty Award from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences for his project, "Dancing with the Devil in Maracaña."
Professor Richards received a Creative Award from the Provost's office for her project, "Transnational Links and Constraints: The Work of Women of the ILO and International Confederation of Free Trade Unions (ICFTU) in Africa during the 1960s.”
