Section Information for Fall 2017
This is a RESEARCH SEMINAR focusing on the Cuban Missile Crisis and its origins. “Long” refers to the nuclear weapons policies of Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy and Khrushchev that resulted in the most dangerous episode during the Cold War. The seminar’s goal is for each student to produce a near publishable research paper based on primary sources.

Satisfies the writing intensive requirement in the major.

Required Prerequisites: (HIST 300C) and (ENGH 302C, ENGL 302C, HNRS 110C or 210C).
C Requires minimum grade of C.
Enrollment is limited to students with a major in History.
