Overview of European decorative arts from fifteenth to eighteenth centuries, with focus on objects from Italy, France, and England. Examines the role of decorative arts in the formation of identity of the elite in Renaissance Italy as well as Renaissance France and England. Also concentrates on European decorative arts from seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, with emphasis on Paris and London. May not be repeated for credit.
Registration Restrictions:

Enrollment limited to students with a class of Advanced to Candidacy, Graduate, Non Degree or Senior Plus.

Enrollment is limited to students with a major in History of Decorative Arts.

Enrollment is limited to Graduate, Non-Degree or Undergraduate level students.

Students in a Non-Degree Undergraduate degree may not enroll.
