Section Information for Spring 2015
This course will examine various approaches to the study of world history. We will read texts that exemplify trends in world history and we will discuss their authors’ methodologies, sources, theoretical underpinnings, and ways of defining the world. Readings will include theoretical work and case studies, as well as books aimed at scholarly and popular audiences.

Enrollment limited to students with a class of Advanced to Candidacy, Graduate, Junior Plus, Non-Degree or Senior Plus.
Enrollment is limited to Graduate, Non-Degree or Undergraduate level students.
Students in a Non-Degree Undergraduate degree may not enroll.
