Wendi Manuel-Scott
Assistant Professor; Director, African American Studies
A professor of Caribbean history and the African diaspora, Wendi N. Manuel-Scott received her Ph.D. in History at Howard University in 2003. She is preparing her manuscript “Working for the Yankee Dollar: Caribbean Farmworkers in the United States, 1943-1957” for publication. Professor Manuel-Scott teaches classes on Caribbean history, Caribbean migration, African American history, and the African diaspora. She is affiliated with the African American Studies and New Century College programs at George Mason University.
