Dan DeSelm earned his BA from the University of California, Berkeley, and his PhD in medieval history from the University of Michigan. He also studied at Trinity College, Oxford, and at the École nationale des chartes at the Sorbonne, Paris. His published work has focused on relic cults and the movement of relics during the Carolingian era. Dan has been a member of GMU’s adjunct faculty since 2009.
