While at Mason, Pia exhibited an extraordinary work ethic that resulted in impressive and insightful graduate-level research (and a very high GPA). Most recently, she has been accepted into the prestigious docent training program at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Asian Art.
As a registrar, Elizabeth uses her degree daily to care for the objects in art museum collections, and write content for the public about what happens "behind-the-scenes" in art museums.
April Loizou completed a hands-on internship through her Masters program in art history, honing her interests and leading her to her current position at the Capitol.
While completing her graduate study Roshna Kapadia started her own company, Wandering Docent, in the Washington, D.C. area. She provides uniquely structured museum tours and art history lectures on-site.
Post-graduation Eller was employed as the Art & Design Librarian at The George Washington University Libraries. Through classroom and internship experience she was able to acquire her dream job.
After completing the MA Art History degree in Summer 2012, Beth went on to work with the Blanton Museum of Art in Austin, Texas. She has recently returned to DC to assist in curating an exhibition at the Smithsonian American Art Museum. Her focus is in modern Latin American art, and has led to a rewarding career in museum work.
