Jessica Campbell

Majoring in history, Jessica is already applying what she's learning in her job in the Mason Libraries. One of two writers for the Mason History Project, she is helping research and write the history of the university. She is minoring in ancient Mediterranean art and archaeology.

Jessica has made substantial contributions to the communities around her. As a member of Honors College Connects, she worked with Langley Residential Services, which provides care for the mentally handicapped, to develop a resource guidebook. She also volunteers with the Catholic Campus Ministry and supports the Mason Admissions Office as a Mason Ambassador.

She is a member of Students Helping Honduras, whose goal is to increase awareness of poverty in Honduras. She spent spring break 2012 on a service trip to their adopted village of Villa Soleda.

For her remarkable accomplishments in the classroom and beyond, Jessica was awarded the Dean's Challenge Scholarship for 2012-2013.
