Section Information for Fall 2018
This course surveys the techniques and development of the visual art and culture from the Prehistoric era up to the present. This course will introduce students to the materials, techniques, formal analysis, and critical thinking of the visual arts, and how art communicates within society. Students will learn how to analyze and interpret works of art, and how we can see it as a cultural product that shows something about the society that produced it. Instructor: Theana Kastens
