Section Information for Fall 2019
In HIST 125, we will examine world history from 1200 ce to the present. Since 1200, interactions between countries and societies have become more common and increasingly global in scope. In this course, we will see that much of what we consider traditional are actually quite recent developments and that what we consider new is often guide old. Through the examination of developments within countries and the interactions between countries, we shall explore the political, social, ideological and economic changes that have shaped the world we live in.
