Section Information for Fall 2021
This course uses the broad topic of the life and times of George Washington (1732-1799) to introduce History majors to the methodology of researching, interpreting, and writing history. Students' final projects may focus on Virginia plantation life, material culture, the American Revolution, the politics of the early republic, historical memory, or a wide range of other topics pertaining to early American history.
