Section Information for Spring 2020

In this course, we will investigate how Americans explored parts of the world (and beyond) unknown to them, from the Lewis and Clark expedition of 1803 to Neil Armstrong’s moon landing in 1969. We will evaluate the ramifications of these explorations for both the American people and also the place and people the explorers encountered. Students will create a digital project using methods of their choosing that highlights the accomplishments and consequences of one exploring expedition.
