U.S. History: Early Republic; Slavery, Manumission, and Colonization; George and Martha Washington/The Washington Family

Lynn Price is an Assistant Editor for The Washington Papers and a lecturer at the University of Virginia. She has completed a comprehensive edition of George Washington's Barbados Diary to be published by UVA Press in May 2018 and is currently working on a volume of Martha Washington's correspondence. Her dissertation is on the creation of Washington, DC, its relationship with slavery and freedom, and the American Colonization Society.
