On October 18, Dr. Joseph Genetin-Pilawa was invited to present to doctoral students in the History PhD program at UT-Austin on the topic, “Career Trajectories and Getting Published.” Genetin-Pilawa is the author of Crooked Paths to Allotment: The Fight Over Federal Indian Policy After the Civil War,” and is the co-editor of the Journal of the Gilded Age and the Progressive Era.
