Mack Holt gives invited lectures at Oxford, Cambridge, St. Andrews

Mack Holt, Emeritus Professor of Renaissance Europe in the department, recently gave several invited lectures at some of the oldest and most distinguished universities in Europe:  two lectures at Cambridge University, and one each at Oxford University, the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, Warwick University, and the University of London.  Some of the lectures were on his recently published book, The Politics of Wine in Early Modern France, and others related to his current research project, ”Reading the Bible in Reformation France.”
