The Art History Program sponsored its annual museum careers lecture on April 17. Dr. Aude Semat, Associate Curator in the Department of Egyptian Art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, discussed the history of Egyptian collecting at the Met, described her daily work and recent curatorial initiatives, and gave career advice for students interested in working in museums. Around 40 interested students from Art History, History, Museum Studies, and Ancient Mediterranean fields attended.
