Griffith Advises Award-Winning Documentary

One of our History doctoral students, Misha Griffith, served as historical consultant for the documentary film, "KJV:The Making of the King James Bible." The film recently won the Special Jury Award at the Houston International Film Festival. This documentary tells the story of the committee of college professors and theologians who worked for seven years to create a lyrical translation of the Bible. "KJV" was released directly to DVD in September of 2010 to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the publishing of the first edition of the King James Version.
