Ms Price, whose dissertation in progress examines slavery and the lives of free African Americans in the District of Columbia, will be joining a new project seeking to catalogue and publish the papers of Martha Washington and the larger Washington family. The Papers of Martha Washington and the Washington Family. The new Project will publish both digital and print scholarly volumes. Ms Price will be involved in archival research and travel for the identification and copying of relevant documents, transcription, annotation research and writing, proofreading, indexing, and related activities.
