Jennifer Ritterhouse Speaks on Children's Experience in Jim Crow

Professor Jennifer Ritterhouse delivered a lecture at the University of Houston, Victoria, on February 25, as part of the A.D. Sheffield Symposium on African American History. Ritterhouse spoke on children's experiences during Jim Crow, which is also the subject of her most recent book, Growing Up Jim Crow: How Black and White Southern Children Learned Race. Here is a description of her lecture.
