In this class students will curate, organize, and install an exhibition. The theme of the exhibition will be the techniques and production of medieval manuscripts. Students will choose the theme, write a proposal, select objects, write labels and wall text, design the exhibition layout and make decisions about object display, create marketing materials, install works and develop gallery talks. This course introduces students to the kinds of practical and intellectual tasks that are involved in organizing an exhibition. Students are expected to work collaboratively as well as on individual portions of the project.

Enrollment limited to students with a class of Advanced to Candidacy, Graduate, Junior Plus, Non-Degree or Senior Plus.
Students in a Non-Degree Undergraduate degree may not enroll.
