This course explores the art, architecture, and archeology of medieval England: beginning with a discussion of the enduring influence of the pre-Christian Celts (creators of the famous Stonehenge monument) and ending with the Tudors in the 15th century. In addition to robust weekly lectures and learning opportunities, this course will feature numerous guest lectures from medieval historians working in England and virtual tours of British museums.
