On the one hand, the History of the Election of 2016 has yet to be written, but on the other, history as a discipline has a lot to offer in terms of understanding issues raised in this historic election.

This fall, the faculty of the Department of History & Art History will be teaching the History of the Election of 2016 in their classrooms, and you are invited to join in! Each participating instructor will facilitate a discussion on a theme, context, or methodology that connects their course to the election.

If you see a session that interests you, feel free to attend the class on the day of the session.

All sessions are in classrooms on the Fairfax Campus, unless otherwise noted, and are free and open to the public!

Sponsored by the Department of History & Art History.
