How did you choose your degree program?

When I graduated high school; I was unsure on what I wanted to studied. After a long debate, I decided I wanted to study history because it was my favorite subject in school.

How did your academic experiences in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences impact you?

My academic experiences in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences had a massive impact on me. I learned to be a better reader and writer during my time there. I also gained important knowledge and skills that will be useful in my career.

What accomplishment(s) during your time at Mason are you most proud of?

My proudest accomplishment at George Mason University is my senior paper. With the help of Professor Oberle, I was able to create a 25-page research paper about English as a Second Language and the controversy that surrounded it. I never believed that I could complete such a paper before but Mason made it possible for me.

Are there faculty or staff members who made a difference during your Mason career? Please give an example of this impact if possible.

Professor Oberle had a significant impact on me during my time at Mason. I learned how to become a historian because of him. Professor Mullen also had a massive impact on me because she taught me unique skills on a computer that improved my assignments and projects. I also learned how to make an informative podcast because of Professor Mullen.

What are your current career plans following graduation? What are your long-term career goals?

I am still unsure on what my plans are after graduation. I hope that I can get a job within the Federal Government.
