Policies

Eight credits of coursework must be unique to the minor and students must complete all coursework with a minimum GPA of 2.00. A maximum of 6 credits of ARTH 398 Study Abroad in the History of Art  may be applied to the minor with permission of department.

Minor Requirements

Students are strongly encouraged to participate in a study abroad program. ARTH 494 The Museum (Mason Core) is not required for the minor but is strongly encouraged. 

Lower Level Requirement

Select one to two 100- or 200-level courses in art history 3-6

Upper Level Requirement

Select 12-15 credits from the following: 12-15
Art History Internships (0-6 credits)
