The course will examine the political, social, economic, and cultural history of the United States during the 1960s. Themes and areas of study will include: the Cold War, the War in Vietnam and protests at home, the New Left, Civil Rights, Feminism and Women's Lib, the Great Society, the Generation Gap, Rock and Roll, and the Sexual Revolution.
