Economics

Through your history major you're already studying the effects of large-scale social and cultural changes. An economics minor can extend that study particularly with respect to questions of work, trade, production, consumption, economic growth and more. In addition, the analytical and research skills you develop in your history degree will be complemented by additional and different analytical and research skills you'll gain in an economics minor. Employers will appreciate your demonstration the ability to take on extra intellectual challenge, and the range of analytical and research methods you can bring to the job.
