Information Technology
As a history major, you're already a strong researcher and good at thinking about how to present complicated information. Maybe you've taken one of the digital history courses taught in the history department, or are pursuing a concentration in public history. A minor in information technology will give you some of the basic coding skills that will extend your skills to handle some of the "back end" aspects of web development as well as front-end presentation. You'll also be more ready to build a career in any information technology industry, which needs people who speak their language, but can communicate it effectively to others. And you'll get to take your quantitative thinking skills out for a spin.
