Shae Corey

U.S. History: Religious History, Women's History, 20th Century, Digital History, Public History

Shae Corey is a first-year PhD student in History at George Mason University. Shae received her Master's degree in Public History from American University in 2022, and her Bachelor’s of Science in Education from Samford University in 2020.

Shae has lived in Washington, DC for the past five years while working as a public historian and preservationist. Shae's research primarily focuses on religious activism's impact on the development of DC neighborhoods in the twentieth century. She is broadly interested in Religious History, Women's History, and Urban History.
