Hernán Adasme is a first year Ph.D. student in history and teaching assistant at George Mason University. He is an affiliate of the Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media. Hernán received a history master’s degree from the Universidad de Santiago de Chile. His research focuses on the convergence of the workplace and modern sports in early twentieth century Latin America. His research interests include digital history, cultural history, and labor history as well. He has written articles on boxing practice and spectacle in mining towns in Central Chile and about documentary films on nitrate company towns in northern Chile.
