John E. Fahey earned his PhD from Purdue University in 2017, focusing on the late Austro-Hungarian Empire. He has taught at Purdue, the United States Military Academy at West Point, Georgia Military College, and George Mason University. His book, Przemysl, Poland: A City Before, During, and After a Fortress will be available from Purdue University Press in 2023. Dr. Fahey currently works as a historian for the United States Naval History and Heritage Command at the Washington, DC Naval Yard.
