Kacey Young is a second-year PhD student of History at George Mason University. She received her Public History Certificate from Northern Virginia Community College, which launched her move into George Mason's Public History Master's Program. Her research interests include population movement and displacement, cross-cultural interactions, and the effects of natural and built environments on movement and cultural expression.
Kacey has worked extensively within the regional public history sector, particularly with non-profits.
