BA History
Elizabeth Semarge is a junior that is pursuing a degree in American History.
She is a native of Pittsburgh, who moved down to Virginia seven years ago and fell in love with the history from the area. She hopes to combine her vast years or clinical research and her love of presidential history into a new career in the future. Her favorite class was Slavery and Resistance in Virginia, where she got to learn how to not just settle for the easy answers but find the answers if you just keep digging. She hopes to start her master's program in historical preservation in a few years.
When Elizabeth is not attending classes, you can find her at her job as a clinical research coordinator at the Heart and Vascular Institute at Inova Health System.
