Kerri Chapman

Kerri Chapman, BA History '98, is originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia. As a first generation college student, she worked multiple on-campus jobs and was active in several student organizations, including Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity. 

Chapman obtained a master’s in education from Georgia Southern University in 2002 and has dedicated her entire career to working in higher education, with experience in admissions, financial aid, advancement, and information technology. She is currently the deputy chief information officer at Washington and Lee University, where she manages an extremely talented team of technologists who keep the trains running smoothly. Champan is married to Mason alumnus, Jim Chapman, BA International Studies ‘98, and they have nine-year-old twins (Jack and Lillian). They currently reside north of Lexington, Virgnia.
