Alumni Spotlight

We are happy to showcase Tammy Tran, who says: “After graduating from the art history graduate program at George Mason University, I took on a job at Quinn's Auction Galleries in Falls Church, Virginia. I am currently one of the cataloging assistants in the fine arts and decorative arts department, where we handle paintings, sculpture, furniture, and other material goods. My main tasks include working with new consignments and acquisitions, research, object handling, and cataloging.

“The most rewarding aspect of this job is that I can use the skills I learned at Mason while working directly with artwork... every semester during my graduate training, I made an effort to take advantage of the internship programs run by Professor Angela Ho. I interned at Quinn's Auction Galleries during my last semester of graduate school and this opportunity led to a job offer straight out of the program at Mason!”
