Juliet Abiña


Juliet Abiña is a history major and is currently finishing her senior year.  She transferred to George Mason University her junior year after receiving an associates of science from Tidewater Community College. Having an interest in Chicano history and wanting to change the way history is taught in the public school system, her dream job is to one day be a part of an ethnic studies department at the high school level. After graduating from George Mason University, Juliet will continue her education by pursuing a masters in secondary education.

Scott Skiba


Scott Skiba is a senior history major with a minor in art history. He was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia. He started his college education at Northern Virginia Community College, then transferred to George Mason University in 2019. He is interested in ancient Greek myth, art, and culture. After graduation, he hopes to eventually pursue a master’s degree in ancient civilizations or a related field.
