Zachary Arlt

Zachary Arlt

Zachary Arlt switched into history from a Community Health major, and stayed because studying history helped him understand how stories connect different disciplines, people, and cultures. While at Mason, he was interested in learning how to better present and use history in new ways to think critically about the past. He was fortunate enough to combine this interest with his minor in theater by interning at the Smithsonian's Discovery Theater, where he was able to do historical research that would support different theater performances for children. After graduation, he hopes to eventually pursue graduate study in theater history or performance studies. He is a senior student from Oceanport, New Jersey.
