Elisabeth Bodin

Elisabeth Bodin is an first year undergraduate student at George Mason University, pursuing a Bachelor's in History. Bodin transferred from Northern Virginia Community College where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with an Associate's of Science in Education and a Certificate of Career Studies for Teaching Professionals. A dual-national, with her family coming from Austria (of Czech descent) and Louisiana, Bodin has lived in Virginia most of her life. She has previously interned at the Smithsonian National Museum of Asian Art in the Office of the Director, and is currently a tutor with EduTutorVA and a substitute teacher. She hopes to become a middle school teacher upon graduation, and would also like potentially work in the curatorial field or as an educational assistant at a museum.

The project submitted for this award was part of a group project; Bodin wants to give credit to the many others she worked with in the class of HIS 183 with Professor Marc Dluger at NVCC.
