Sandman and Stearns Achievement Scholarship in History History and Art History

Anna Putnam, of Appomattox, Virginia, is a senior at George Mason University. She transferred from Central Virginia Community College in 2022 and is pursuing a major in history with a concentration in U.S. History, alongside an advanced master's degree in global affairs. Her main academic interests include the American Revolution and American foreign policy. After graduation, Anna plans to move to the Washington, DC area and hopes to contribute to history preservation or international affairs.
