Page-Nelson Award in History History and Art History

Catherine grew up in Louisiana then lived for many years in Northern California, working in a university library. She began taking community college classes while working full time. In 2019, she moved to Virginia. After studying at NOVA, she transferred to George Mason in 2022. In May 2025, she will be graduating with a bachelor's degree in history, with a minor in early childhood education for diverse learners. After graduation, she will be attending Old Dominion University, seeking a master’s degree in library and information studies, with the goal of becoming a children’s librarian.
