She received her bachelor’s degree in history, with a concentration in public history, also from George Mason in December 2022. While completing her master’s degree she works as a Graduate Research Assistant for Dr. George Oberle at the Center for Mason Legacies, and Data & Digital Scholarship Services. In addition, she is a current intern with the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage working on a project creating digital content for K-12 educators as well as curating digitized material for future educational and professional development projects at Folklife. Her research interests are in 18th and 19th century Britain and Ireland. She will happily study any aspect of British and Irish history but is especially interested in the social and cultural effects of English rule on Gaelic speaking communities across Ireland and Scotland.
