Outstanding Art History Project History and Art History
2025 Awardees

Emma Paskey
Emma Paskey is a senior art history major at George Mason University, where she will be continuing to pursue her master's degree in the fall. She is currently the Vice President of the Art History Graduate Association and spent the past academic year as one of the Art History Department’s student ambassadors. This April, she presented her paper on the Dolls' House of Petronella Oortman at the SUNY New Paltz Undergraduate Art History Symposium. She is also involved with other organizations on campus, including Chi Omega where she served on the executive board as Personnel Chair. In her free time, Emma enjoys reading and working on a variety of craft projects. She currently works as a Museum Aid at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum and is planning to pursue a career in museum education after she completes her master's degree at GMU.
Lee Wilson
Outside of studying art history, Lee is also involved in campus groups and club sports here at Mason. He is the treasurer for the Society for the Study of Religion in the religious studies department, the President of the Equestrian Club and Competition Team, a board member for the Executive Council for Club Sports, and the President of the (newly restarted) Art History Graduate Association. When he is not studying, he enjoys reading, running, and spending time with his horse, Rocket. His future plans are to complete his masters in art history (from GMU) and to hopefully start working towards a PhD!
