Presented to outstanding junior or senior history majors with exceptionally high cumulative and major GPAs who have completed a minimum of 12 hours in history at George Mason.
Malcolm Law is a senior from North Carolina who is finishing his bachelor of arts in history. Throughout his undergraduate courses and internships, he has had opportunities to explore topics that he was particularly interested in such as legal history, modern Chinese history, and the history of the southern United States in the 20th century. After graduation, Malcolm will begin studying law at the University of Virginia in the fall.
Andrew is a junior who is currently working towards a bachelor of arts in history with a minor in anthropology. He graduated from Oakwood School in his hometown of Morgan Hill, California. Originally concentrating on U.S. history, his professors exposed him to Latin American history with which he fell in love. Still interested in both, Andrew hopes to be able to work in the nation's capital dealing with some aspect of public history or museum work. He plans on getting a master’s degree after graduation and hopes that he can aid in the effort of research, preservation, educating the public, and more.
