Sarah Petroff

Sarah is currently in her senior year at George Mason University and is anticipating graduating in summer 2021 as a history major along with a concentration in public history and a minor in anthropology. She didn’t know that she wanted to become a history major until after transferring from Northern Virginia Community College, but after meeting so many new professors and fellow students in that field she officially declared her major in her junior year. Sarah’s always loved history and when she learned about the aspects of public history, Sarah knew that was what she wanted to study. She hopes to work in a museum or a historic site after graduating, as she wants to engage with the public about history, while working first-hand with artifacts or preserved sites.
