History
Rhett Russell is a recent George Mason University graduate born and raised in Fairfax, VA. After completing his freshman year at James Madison University, he decided to move back home and continue his studies at Mason. While completing his bachelor’s degree in history, he worked as a part-time fiscal technician in the Finance Administrative Systems Team here at Mason. In addition to majoring in history, he pursued a minor in music technology, learning audio production skills. His primary interests in history are political and military history from the 18th century onwards, particularly the World Wars. Aside from studying history, Rhett is also a musician and songwriter. His future plans are focused on continuing to work at his current job, looking to get full-time employment. He is also thinking about continuing academic studies further down the road.
